Our client, a prominent UAE business conglomerate who has helped shape modern Dubai, is looking for an Office Infrastructure & Facility Manager to manage the companies’ office infrastructure. You will take responsibility for managing the office infrastructure for the group including space planning, health and safety, layout/design changes, audit/review of soft services (including cleaning, housekeeping, security and facilities management), in order to ensure consistent/high standards in keeping with the group image.

You will be responsible for assisting with the strategic and tactical space planning for all group companies. This will include reviewing of requests for leasing additional office space; office modification/refurbishments, moves and changes; auditing/review the quality of services provided by internal/outsourced agencies in the area of cleaning, security, facility management, pest control, etc; defining acceptable quality standards and ensuring they are built into vendor selection process; conducting inspection/audit of the Showrooms on a quarterly basis; responsibility for the allocation of office parking spaces; developing policy for standardisation of office furniture, layout, upgrading the aesthetics including placement of plants/flower arrangements and general look and feel, to reflect group image; reviewing and optimising the use of storage space in the office area; putting in place health and safety policy for the offices; undertaking continuous audits in order to ensure that risks are identified and managed; assisting and advising the management in setting the environmental policy in order to reduce carbon footprint. This would include (but not limited to) waste disposal/management; water conservation; use of proper cleaning materials; energy management, etc; managing/maintaining employee cafeteria/pantry in the office; setting guidelines/standardising the use of consumable items and setting up and documenting the operational policies & procedures for the function.

To qualify you will possess a degree in a relevant subject and have extensive experience in facility management and soft services within a group of companies or a renowned FM support services company. You will have a minimum of 10 years experience and you must have proven leadership, interpersonal and communications skills.
